Christmas is comming. It is only the 9th, and the radio stations are already overflowing with carols and festive tunes of today and yesterday. It is these days that we have to cherish, becuase Christmas will come too fast and go even faster. The joy ride only comes around for a few hours, and that time is the time we have to remember. Holiday traditions may be hard to stand, but don't long for the time after, or it will pass you by. I don't have to try to enjoy the weekends and weekdays before the long awaited holiday vacations, because I find cheer everywhere. You always have to think positive. If you can't think positive you could always think it could always be worse.
Today was a bit annoying, but all in all, it was fun. I woke up at 9 and took the dog for a short walk due to the temperature. After that, dad came down stairs, and he, my sister, and I cooked up a breakfast feast equivelent to that of a king. There were eggs, bacon, toast, and juices galore. Never in my life has food made me so happy. Around 1pm, I was forced into the car and to a music shop. I love music, I love shopping, and I love and combination of music and shopping, but I don't liked to be dragged all the way across town. The trip was worth it, because I received a special gift. This gift was in a large, hard black box that you would expect it to be in. I got a snare drum. Not any old snare drum, but the very one they used on Saturday Night Live. This drum was only $75, but you can tell it is special and filled with memories. I expect to practice when the family is gone. Pictures soon to come.
Thanks for reading, and have a good night.
